HALLOWEEN 2015
Come watch the students and faculty at Kennedy as they parade around the school on Friday, October 30th for Halloween.
AM PreK 9:00am
Multiage, 2nd & 3rd Grades 10:00am
PM PreK, Kindergarten & 1st Grade 12:30pm
The parades will take place outside, weather permitting. All parents and family members are encouraged to watch along the parade route. Students will change into their costumes at school. Please pack their costumes so they can be stored in their lockers. Students should not bring swords, guns or any other type of weapon to school with their costume. Students will not be allowed to apply makeup at school.
If you wish to help your child change into their costume, you may pick your child up and dress them at home. Please sign your child out in the main office.
Please help us ensure the safety of your children that day by only entering the building if you are a designated party helper. Classroom party helpers will be organized this year through the ABC Parent Group (see below). Parents who wish to help in their child’s classroom must follow the directions in the letter. This will help us be sure we are managing a safe school environment.
In case of inclement weather, students will parade through the gymnasium and return to their classrooms. Parents will be asked to exit the building at the end of the parade unless they are signed up ahead of time with the ABC Parent Group to assist with the parties.
ABC PARENT HELPERS: Halloween Parties
The ABC Parent Group will be organizing classroom parties and parent helpers for the 2015-2016 school year.
Each grade level will have one lead parent. The lead parent will coordinate classroom parent helpers for holiday parties. A maximum of 3 parents will be allowed to be “parent helpers” in each classroom during holiday celebrations.
For Halloween, Kennedy School is asking for parent helpers to lead Halloween centers, crafts, and activities.
If you are interested in volunteering in your child’s classroom on Friday, October 30th for Halloween, please contact the lead parent for your child's grade level below:
