Friday's Football Game is Cancelled

This Friday's Football against Serrano High School is cancelled.

Drinking Water Updates

The campus drinking fountains will remain off-limits to limit the number of surfaces touched by students during the instructional day. Below you will find three options to assist students with hydration on campus.

1. Students are encouraged to bring their own water bottles or reusable water bottles daily. Water stations are available for all students to refill their water bottles as needed.

2. During lunch, Nutrition Services has cups of water available for students. In addition, students also have access to on-campus vending machines with water and Power-Aide options.

3. CHS recently purchased reusable water bottles for all students. Once the water bottles arrive on campus, they will be passed out to all students within their English Language Arts courses.

BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT - POSTPONED 9/2/2021

It is still a minimum day, but we will not be hosting back to school night this week. Students will be released at 12:05.

Lunch will be provided at 12:12-12:42. Buses leave @ 12:50pm

ASVAB TESTING - 9/27/2021

Attention juniors and seniors: Are you interested in a career in the military? We will be offering the ASVAB test on Wednesday September 29th at 7:30 am in the Career Center. If you are interested in signing up, please visit the counseling office as soon as possible. Space is limited.

Are you interested in doing something new and different? The Carter marathon team is looking for interested students who would like to complete the Los Angeles marathon in March. No running experience is required, just the determination to train. Please see Coach Hardesty in the PE area if you are interested.

CHS Dance Team Tryouts

The CHS Dance Team is having Dance Tryouts in the Quad on September 1st, 2nd, and 3rd from 2:45 to 5 pm. If you like to dance and have a good time, this team might be for you! Please wear comfortable clothes and shoes and bring a friend to try out with you. Looking forward to seeing you there!
