September, 2023 Volume 5, Issue 1
From the Desk of Ms. Johnson
Being a principal has been a huge part of my life and it has greatly contributed to the person I am today. I will always cherish the opportunity to lead in CMS as a whole and impact the lives of thousands of students at the four schools in which I served. I am forever grateful for the lessons learned, relationships formed, and the memories made.
Parents and guardians, thank you for entrusting me with the education and well-being of your scholars. Your students are truly scholars. I'm excited about the impact they are going to make in our community and in the world. Thank you for working with me to ensure their success. I’m proud of what we accomplished by working together.
As I step into retirement and begin a new chapter in my life, I’m looking forward to spending more time with my family and friends. While I’m both grateful and excited about the opportunity to work in my hometown of Rock Hill, South Carolina, I will always feel a special connection to the educators and students in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. I will continue to be one of their biggest cheerleaders. I’m hopeful our paths will cross again.
