It's More Than a Day It's A Way
There Are No Innocent Bystanders
- You are responsible. Be an upstander not a bystander!
- It is NEVER O.K. to get pleasure from someone else's pain!.
- When others are cruel or mean, say that's mean and that's cruel and have the courage to say that what they are doing is unacceptable.
- Sit with the person that someone else will not.
- Be the person who refuses to be mean!
- You don't have to like everyone, but treat everyone with dignity and regard (honour their humanity)!
- Don't ever think it is cool to be mean!
- Stand up for injustices even when it is uncomfortable to do it!
- Be people of deep deep caring!
- Know you can be a witness, resistor , defender and an ally.
- You can make a difference!
- Nothing justifies mean!
Are you someone who excludes, treats others with contempt? Targets others? Look inside and start TODAY to choose to be KIND!
STAND UP SPEAK UP .
Communicating with others :
Ask yourself is it true ,necessary and kind ? If it is not ... don't say it or send it!
How can YOU care more deeply about others?
Can you find ways to wish others well?
When was the last time you shared generously?
Can you find ways to help others willingly?
Pay attention to what is going on around you and never look away!
Recognize when you care and be proud of yourself!
The smallest good deed is better than the grandest good intention. J Burroughs
