BONUS RECESS TIME ON A SPRING LIKE DAY
It was a fun week of the "Challenge" as PH students and families contributed money donations which will go towards community & school-wide activities.
The students were so excited, each day, to watch their grade level's jars filling up with coins & bills. This activity also served as a math skills lesson as students learned the value of different coins.
Thanks to all of the students who generously volunteered to give up some recess times to tally the donation jars each day. Thanks also to Mrs. Browning for all her help.
STARTING YOUR DAY WITH A CUP OF COCOA
It was another random act of kindness that this group likes to perform. They handed out 76 cups of hot chocolate to grateful parents.
