🎄 Christmas Program 🎄

Please join us as our 1st & 3rd grade students perform a wonderful Christmas Program for the community! The program will be held on Wednesday, December 13th at 6:00pm.

Secret Santa Shop

The Paragon PTO will host a Secret Santa Shop from December 13th - December 15th. The cost for each item will be $2.00. Start making your lists!! More information will be sent home soon.

Title 1

Funding has been made available through School Wide Title 1 Services to Paragon Elementary for the purpose of providing students with extra support in reading/language arts and math. This extra support is available for all students at Paragon Elementary. Classroom teachers, Title 1 teachers, and instructional aides provide assistance through small group and individualized instruction as children demonstrate a need for support. Please contact your teacher about services your child may receive.

Caroling on WCBK

Our 3rd Grade students be broadcast live on WCBK on December 14th from 10:00am to 10:15am. They have been hard at work practicing to sound their very best! Please tune in to 102.3 to listen!

Dress Code Policy Reminder

Dress to Learn

It is the responsibility of the students to maintain a healthy and respectful-looking appearance while attending school and school activities. Specific regulations of the dress policy:

  1. Clothing and/or accessories which are indecent or displaying/inferring offensive or lewd words, sayings, and/or pictures is considered a violation. Clothing and/or accessories may not display any forms or references to alcohol, tobacco products, and/or illegal substances.

  2. Halter tops, net shirts, tank tops with spaghetti straps and midriff tops are not permissible.

  3. Shorts must be fingertip length.

  4. Shoes should be appropriate for safety and comfort. Flip flops and shoes with wheels are not permitted at any time. Students must wear tennis shoes to Physical Education. High heels and sandals without backs are not permitted.

  5. Hats and sunglasses are not to be worn in the school building except on designated days.

  6. The wearing or displaying of any gang related article of dress or adornment is not allowed at school or any school activity.

  7. Any attire that disrupts the educational process or puts a student at risk, such as clothing that does not fit appropriately, or leaves underwear exposed, is not permitted.


The dress code is subject to change to include but not limited to adding guidelines for PPE (Personal Protective Equipment). These guidelines would be developed and communicated following guidance from the CDC, health department, State of Indiana, and the IDOE.

Important Skyward Info

MSD of Martinsville policy states students will only be released to adults who are listed in Skyward Family Access as a parent/guardian or emergency contact. You may log-in at any time to add or remove names. Please contact the office if you need help with your log-in.

BRRRRRR!!

Please make sure your child wears the appropriate clothing for the weather! Classes will continue to go out for recess as weather allows. If your child is in need of a coat, hat, or gloves please contact the office at (765)537-2276.

Arrival & Dismissal

Upon arrival or dismissal, please pull up to the front curb and wait for a staff member to assist your student. If coming from the parking lot, please walk your child across the parking lot. Do not cross between the buses as they may not be able to see you!

Please send a note with your child if their "go home" procedures have changed. If there is an emergency change during the day, please call the office no later than 3:00 pm.
