• Front doors will open at 7:30am. First bell rings at 8:15am. When students arrive on campus before 7:45am they will go to the gym, until they are released to class.
• Students who arrive after the 8:15am bell, will receive a Tardy, unless they have arrived to school on a late bus.

The H-O Student of the Week is Arantxa Marcano Acevedo,

nominated by Mrs. Burton.

Aran stays after the bell and helps plug in all the iPads and calculators. She does this without being asked - she is truly just showing kindness and being helpful. When other students run out to get to lunch, she stays a few minutes behind to help me out and I truly appreciate her. - Rylee Burton

1) Parents and Students,

Many students have noticed that Arena Scheduling has shown up in Skyward. This does not mean you are going to summer school. This opens for all students to allow a student to take a class for initial credit over the summer. Below are flyers from the High School that share more information about initial credit classes this summer.

All students and parents will be notified by the counselors if a student is attending summer school for not successfully completing a class.

The link below is for next week’s Junior High Soccer Championship games at Mustang Field. The Girls team plays at 4:30pm, and the Boys team plays at 6:30 p.m. We hope to see you there supporting our soccer teams.

Students and Parents,

The following 4 documents provide the final exam schedule, details on how to qualify for an exam exemption, how to enter an exemption and how to alter an exemption. If you have any questions please contact your grade level Assistant Principal.

PBIS Expectations & Rewards - PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions & Supports. One large piece is explaining expectations upfront. Another piece is rewarding students when we see those focused on positive behaviors. 3 campus-wide expectations posters (CLICK HERE) are placed throughout the campus. Teachers will take time during the first day or two to explain these rules in detail and help students understand what they look like. Our campus is also implementing new software (Classcraft) to encourage students to earn rewards and use them in many different ways. Please have your child download the app on their device and log into Classlink on the LCISD webpage (at the top) to start to explore what this is all about. They do NOT need a phone to do this. It can be done on a laptop or computer.
