Strawbridge Studios will be at SJH for Picture retake/Make-up Day the morning of October 13th from 8:00am - 11:30 am.

Students who ordered photos and are having their pictures RETAKEN should bring their complete original picture package to turn in. Students having their photos taken for the first time do not need to do anything preparation.

To make the distribution process easier, picture packages will be shipped directly to your home. When ordering, please use the name your student uses in school records.

Dear Sycamore Junior High Parents:
This is your Flight Fest 2021 Flight Plan! Flight Fest is the Sycamore Junior High’s one major fundraiser, supporting over 20+ clubs for the almost 900 7th & 8th students, as well as many other school initiatives.

**Flight Fest will follow the Sycamore Community Schools Healthy Aves Plan. Our event will be held entirely outside. At this time guidelines state that outside activities do not require a mask, but you may wear one if you so choose. Restrooms will be accessible inside the building (mask required when inside). Masks & hand washing/sanitizing stations available, all volunteers who will be handing out medals or food/water will be wearing gloves. Any student interested in joining the junior high ski & board club, the window for joining opens October 25. Whether you have never been on skis or a snowboard in your life, to a gnarly expert skier or boarder….Ski club invites you to 4 afternoon/evening trips to Perfect North Slopes. Sycamore Community Schools is excited to announce the addition of another school-based therapist to serve the mental health needs of students through our partnership with Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (CCHMC).

After an extensive interview process with CCHMC, Raphaella Teixeira will be joining the team as an on-site licensed therapist at both E.H. Greene Intermediate and Sycamore Junior High School.

The Sycamore Community School District is currently looking for registered nurses who would like to be employed as substitute nurses. Applicants must have current nursing experience, preferably with children, special needs, diabetes and an active nursing license.
