Mattos Family Update

Dear Mattos Families,

This week, we celebrate Mattos staff in a week long "Staff Appreciation Week" celebration. I want to personally thank all staff for their commitment and dedication shown to all our students. Every staff member (office, custodian, librarian, teacher, paraeducator, inclusion specialist, resource specialist, speech language pathologist, psychologist, intervention specialist, counselor, nurse, noon duty supervisor, and child nutritionist) collaboratively works together to meet the needs of each student. Our Mattos PTA and families have generously shared their appreciation this week by treating staff like kings and queens. Students are encouraged to create crowns and cards, as well as bring in a special treat for the teacher. See the flier below for more info.

When items are forgotten at home, it is important to not interrupt instruction. Please drop off all forgotten items by 9:45 a.m. Anything dropped off by then should be left on the cart outside the office and labeled with student name and room #. A yard duty will deliver those items by 10 a.m. Anything left after 10 a.m. will need to be picked up by your child (we will call the classroom). Please help us out and bring all items by 9:45 a.m.
