CIF Athletics Update
As the regular season for Fall sports draws to a close, the Beckman programs have enjoyed remarkable success. At this point, we have secured two league championships from the Fall season and are still in the running for two more. Let's take a closer look at each of our Fall programs.
- Girls Volleyball, having been crowned league champions, has earned a spot in the CIF Championship match scheduled for Saturday, November 4th. This exciting match will take place at Cerritos College, where they will compete against Campbell Hall HS, with a 3:30 PM start time.
- Boys Water Polo has had an exceptional season, going undefeated in league play and winning the PCL tournament to clinch the League Championship. They will commence their Division 2 playoff journey on Tuesday, October 31, at home against Claremont HS.
- Beckman Football wrapped up the regular season with an impressive 8-2 record and is set to kick off the playoffs by facing Capistrano Valley Christian on Friday evening.
- Cross Country is gearing up for their League Finals on November 1st, with our Boys' program holding the top spot going into the Finals event, and our Girls' team currently in fourth place.
- Our Girls' Tennis team secured a commendable third-place finish in their eight-team league and is poised to begin their Division 1 playoffs on November 1st.
- The inaugural year of Flag Football has concluded with our team having a fantastic season. While there are no CIF playoffs for this sport, the PCL organized a culminating league tournament where our team finished in third place.
- Girls Golf, competing in a highly competitive 8-team league, finished in fourth place and regrettably did not secure a playoff spot this time around.

Congratulations to all of our Fall Sports programs on their achievements, and we wish them the best of luck in the upcoming playoffs.

Reminders from Yearbook for Seniors
Senior Portraits - Must be scheduled/completed prior to 11/17 to guarantee inclusion in the yearbook. Contact the Lake Forest office of South Coast Photographic to schedule. There is a sitting fee to cover the costs incurred by SCP to take and produce the photo, but financial arrangements can be made for impacted families. Call 949-699-0199 to schedule. Personal photos or photos taken with other agencies will not be accepted.
Senior Dedication Ads - Our partner, The Yearbook Company, is running their early bird prices to Nov. 30th saving $10-30 off the full price (varies by size of ad). Visit www.theyearbookcompany.com to begin the process and view options and pricing. Space for ads is limited to first come first serve, and in 4 of the last 5 years ad space has sold out.
Senior Quotes and Superlatives - Seniors, surveys and forms for superlatives and quotes will be going out before the winter break. Start thinking now! Remember that senior quotes are screened for content and need to be appropriate to run in the yearbook.
Thank you!
