October Issue
Principal's Message
Hello Amazing Beaver Families!
October is upon us, and it brings with it a sense of excitement and anticipation as we continue our journey through the school year. As the leaves change color and the weather cools down, there are many important updates and events to share with you in this month's newsletter.
Upcoming Events and Important Dates:
Parent-Teacher Conferences: We value your involvement in your child's education, and our parent-teacher conferences are a fantastic opportunity to discuss your child's progress. Save the date for our conferences coming up in November. Conferences will be held on November 20th and 21st. Please be on the lookout for scheduling information from your child's teacher.
Bingo Night: Our first Bingo Night will take place on October 27 from 6:30-8:00pm in the gym. Join us for a fun-filled evening of games, food, and community bonding. Costumes are encouraged and there will be a costume contest. Look for the flier soon!
School Picture Day: School Picture Day was on October 4th. If your child did not make it to school, don't worry! November 9th will be our Picture Retake Day.
Spirit Week: Look Below for the Flier. Students can wear their costumes on the 27th of October, and will be running in our morning 2K. October 27th will be our dress up day instead of the 31st at school.
School Updates:
Parent Engagement: We appreciate the involvement of our parents and guardians in our school community and our first Family Learning Night! Look for pictures below of our wonderful night! Chromebooks for Students
As you may know, we provide Chromebooks for all students to use. This year, we are replacing all Chromebooks and chargers throughout the MSD.
Chromebooks are generally kept in classrooms at the elementary level, but checked out to students to take home at the secondary level.
We are implementing reasonable fees again for lost or damaged equipment. The fees are below what it actually costs to replace the technology.
$25 replacement cost for chargers
$350 replacement cost for Chromebooks
We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide functioning technology and equipment for you and your students’ needs.
