SAVE THE DATES: Our Vernfield Spirit's Dance-a-THON is Coming!
Vernfield Elementary families!
We are excited to kick off one of our biggest fundraisers of the year, our Vernfield Spirit's Dance-a-THON, powered by Booster. The Dance Fit program is a 2 week fundraising campaign that promotes fitness, teamwork, and character building while helping our school raise some much-needed funds! This will be a fun experience for ALL students, regardless of financial participation.
Our goal is to raise $30,000 for school events and supplies including reduced cost field trips, playground maintenance, and classroom upgrades.
Monday, 1/29, we will be asking you to register your student(s) on MyBooster.com. Getting registered is FREE & EASY and every student that registers will earn a free prize.
Once registered, you can share your students' donation page with friends and family to get donations toward every minute they complete at the Vernfield Spirit's Dance-a-THON .
Campaign Dates to Remember:
-REGISTRATION OPENS - 1/29
Register on MYBOOSTER.COM
-Kick Off Day - 2/12
-Event Day - 2/23
Between our Kickoff and Event Day, students will experience Booster’s character program - "World Changer Workshop". Students will learn the steps to make a difference from real kids, while following along with a fun story about how small actions can make a big impact.
We are grateful for our Vernfield Elementary community! Thank you for your support this year.
Be on the lookout for more details on what to expect in the coming weeks!
Lip Sync Registration Reminder
Thank you to everyone who has already submitted their Lip Sync forms for the event on Friday, March 15th.
Here are a couple reminders:
-Please review song lyrics on azlyrics.com before submitting your song choices. Kids Bop is a great option when lyrics are not suitable. Final song approval is at the discretion of the committee.
-Permission slips are needed from EVERY group member before the song approval process can begin.
-Wait until you receive a confirmation email with the approved song before you start practicing.
-We need at least one parent volunteer for each act.
If you need additional information or forms, please reach out to Kristin Emmons at kristin.m.emmons@gmail.com

-Please stay with your child during the entire event.
-After check in please take your child to their grade pod, and retrieve a craft. Parents are expected to do the craft with their child.
-Children should only leave their pod to go to the restroom with their parent or when their pod is called to go to the gym for the show.
