SPRING 2022 NATIONAL DRUG TAKE BACK PROGRAM:
The drug overdose epidemic in the United States is a clear and present public health, public safety, and national security threat. The Seagoville Police Department participates bi-annually with the US Drug Enforcement Agency in The National Prescription Drug Take Back Day.
The Prescription Drug Take Back reflects law enforcements commitment to Americans’ safety and health, encouraging the public to remove unneeded medications from their homes as a measure of preventing medication misuse and opioid addiction from ever starting.
This is a comment to making our communities safer and healthier, and we can do this by reducing overdoses and overdose deaths. While the community does its part to turn in unneeded medications and remove them from potential harm.

SEAGOVILLE FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Fire Department hopes all of its citizens are kicking spring off by enjoying this nice weather and having a good time. As the weather starts to get warmer we would also like to remind citizens to stay hydrated in the upcoming heat. Lack of hydration in this hot weather will lead to heat exhaustion and eventually a heat stroke. It is also a good time of year to check you’re a/c units and smoke detectors. New and working batteries in smoke detectors will do a lot to keep you and your family safe. We look forward to continuing to service our citizens with all of their needs, thank you for your support.
