Happy Veteran's Day! Thank you to all who have served!
There are always so many things going on inside of our school each week. The kids and teachers are very busy with all of our curriculum and projects that help them grow into confident learners and leaders. You might not see it with your own kids yet, but little by little these important skills are developing.
Last month we had our conferences. You might have heard how your child could improve, work harder, or change in some way. What you heard from teachers is their passion in trying to guide your child along. There are so many areas where we want the kids to grow. We aim to develop the mind, body, spirit, and soul of each Holy Trinity student in preschool and beyond. We know that wholistic (whole person) education is worth it and that is exactly what Catholic education is and what our Holy Trinity school sets goals to do.
"What is the purpose of education?" For many people it has simply become a career preparation program, but we want our education to be much more. Working in partnership with parents, we hope that our graduates will be able to think well, speak well, and write well. They should know how to tell right from wrong and practice acting in ways that are right (habits which we call virtues), because they love God. In this way, our education will form them to be good people, good citizens, and people of faith leading lives of holiness. This is what we strive to do each day at Holy Trinity, and we know that our parents are supporting this at home in your families.
