Issue #15
Winter Break/No School - December 20 thru January 1
Note from the Principal
Hello Basswood families,
Today we enjoyed seeing our kindergarteners and their families build a gingerbread house together. This is a Basswood tradition and it was wonderful to see so many smiles. Between snacks, the kindergarteners demonstrated their budding architectural skills!
Next week will bring Moonlight bowling to our Physical Education classes. This is another Basswood tradition that our Bulldogs look forward to each year. It is going to be a lot of fun!
We will kick off our Basswood Gives Back toy drive on Monday. Our team hopes to provide 1000 toys to CROSS, a local non-profit that supports families in need. They have specifically asked for help with gifts for babies, toddlers and children ages 8-10.
It's going to be a great week!
Steven Schwartz
Basswood Principal
