MESSAGE FROM MRS. ZEMAN

Washington Families,

I have enjoyed seeing so many of you at our back to school interviews; partnering with families is a priority to us! We are all looking forward to the first day of school. Most students begin on Thursday, September 7th, but half of our kindergarteners will begin on Friday, September 8th. Please remember our change in schedule.

7:45-8:05 - Patrollers will be at the corners to cross students.

8:00 - Students will enter the building.

8:10 - School officially begins!

2:35 - We will start our slow dismissal (beginning with kindergarten).

2:40 - All students will be dismissed.

If you drop off or pick up, please pay close attention to the directions below.

DROP OFF/PICK UP

The pickup lane on 14th St is a moving lane so please DO NOT leave your vehicle at any time. Staff will work with students to watch for their vehicle and have them ready to go.

In order to provide the safest drop off and pick up, students will only be allowed to cross the street where safety patrol is located, unless a parent or guardian is escorting across the street.

Between 8:00-8:10, students can enter the closest door that has an adult (main door, big playground, and near small playground). After 8:10, students must enter through the main door on 14th St.

Student T-shirts are available for purchase in the office! Shirts are $9 and cash or check can be dropped off in the office.

SCHOOL FUNDRAISER

Our annual school fundraiser starts on September 13th! Packets will be sent home with your students. Please return them by Tuesday, September 26th. Thank you for supporting the Washington PTO!
