Senior Night will be held on Tuesday, August 29th at 5:30 pm in the theater. The School Counselors will be discussing the following topics: College-bound information, SAT, ACT, AICE, and AP Testing information, as well as, the college decision process, meeting deadlines, Bright Futures, community service requirements, and graduation.

The last day to change courses is August 31st. The only changes that will be made is if a student is academically misplaced. Teacher feedback and approval is required.

Mr. Fitzpatrick is a native of Cleveland, Ohio. He arrived in Daytona Beach, FL in 1994 for school (Bethune-Cookman University) and has remained in Florida ever since. He lived in Miami before moving up to Palm Beach County in the early 2000s and became a Science teacher in 2002 at John F. Kennedy Middle School in Riviera Beach.

He acquired his first assistant principal position at Bear Lakes Middle School in 2006.

Since then, he served in several schools: Osceola Creek Middle, Lake Shore Middle, and finally Don Estridge High Tech Middle School.

This will be his first appointment as a high school administrator. His work history includes Barry University and Stetson University.

Mr. Fitzpatrick studied German, Hebrew, Greek, French, and Portuguese and is partially fluent in French and has a basic travel-tourist command of Portuguese.

Finally, he holds degrees in Religion and Philosophy (BA), Information Technology (M.S.), Education Leadership (M.Ed.), and Curriculum and Assessment (Ed.S), and is completing his dissertation for Instructional Technology (Ed.D).

He is thrilled to be a part of the West Boca Family and will hit the ground running by working the front gate Monday morning welcoming our students in.
