Please consider volunteering for UE's annual Winter Craft Workshop, which will take place next Thursday, December 8th from 3:45-4:50!

We are need of parent volunteers to help organize the craft stations, assist the students during the workshop, and clean up afterwards.

There are three more sessions of the Winter Art Club this month! Consider signing up your child to work on a variety of fun winter or holiday crafts throughout the month of December.

Space is limited! Please reserve your spot today via the registration link.

Students may bring a small snack to eat at the beginning of the class.

Join us for one or more after school holiday hangouts! December is a busy time for everyone. Get some extra parent time while the kids are having fun during an after school activity.

A variety of games and crafts will be available for the kids to pick and choose from throughout the afternoon along with some holiday movies. Soft pretzels and bottles of water will be provided and students may bring their own snacks too!

UTHON is proud to present the return of "Parents Night Out Babysitting Event!" on December 10.

Drop off the kids and enjoy a night to relax or get your holiday shopping done while your children have a blast playing with their friends!!

The UHS PTO would like you to consider donating used books for their Used Book Fair on February 25th and 26th! If interested, please leave your donation at the end of your driveway by 9:00 AM on Saturday, January 14th to be collected. Book donations are also being accepted at ALL Unionville-Chadds Ford school buildings and may be dropped off starting Tuesday, January 17th through Friday, February 17th during school hours. Evening and weekend donations can be made starting Saturday, January 21st using a drop box located behind Unionville High School.

Consider coming out for the UHS PTO Used Book Sale! The sale will take place on Saturday, February 25th from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Sunday, February 26th from 8:00 AM to 1:30 PM. There also will be a $10.00 a bag sale on Saturday from 2:00 to 4:00!

Register now through December 12th for Girls on the Run! Spring season starts February 27th.

Volunteer coaches are needed!

UHS students are running a Tutoring Club for elementary and middle school students at the Kennett Library every Monday from 6-8 pm.

The Citadel Credit Union has a Heart of Learning Award that they give every year to honor an outstanding teacher in our region. This award is given to a teacher who has made a difference in our community by helping students realize their full potential.

Applications are currently being accepted. Please consider honoring a UE teacher for this special award! We have had several teachers over the years who have been nominated and at least one who has won the Grand Prize.

Mrs. Oldenski was an elementary school winner last year!

Consider nominating an outstanding and innovative teacher at UE, who has made a positive impact through their work and dedication, for this amazing award! Teachers can be nominated by present and former students, parents, administrators, coworkers, school employees, and members of the community.

Applications are currently being accepted. Please consider honoring a UE teacher for this special award! Recipients of the award and their schools each receive $1,000. The nomination deadline is December 16, 2022.

UE's Mr. D'Esposito won the award in 2019!

A simple, no fuss, fundraiser allowing 100% (minus PayPal fees) of your donation to go directly to Unionville Elementary School. The PTO budgets about $100 per student on activities that enrich your child’s educational experience. Tax receipts are available upon request.
