Picture retake day is Tuesday, November 9th. Please see email from PTA for specifics for your child to have a retake taken.
Thursday, November 11th we will be recognize as a school Veteran's Day. We will have an all school virtual assembly and students may wear jeans for $1.00.

Tuesday, November 9th is Retake picture day. All students should be in uniform for this picture. Our PTA will send specific information soon for those who need a retake.
We will celebrate Veteran’s Day on Thursday, November 11th. Anita Roper, FRC Coordinator, is coordinating our virtual assembly program.
There is no school Friday, November 12th. This is a professional development day for our staff. Enjoy your long weekend!
The Greathouse Math Challenge is up and running. As each lion meets his/her goal, their name will be added to the hallway display. Listed below are the end-of-year goals for each grade level.
We already have 29 students who have met this end of year challenge...congratulations!

*Science News: A new table talk will be coming home in homework folders this week. Please use this to prepare for a weather assessment on November 11.
*ELA News: New Storyworks Jr. Magazines went home on Friday. The September issue can now be kept at home or disposed of. Please remember that the October issue now needs to be kept in their homework folders at all times, as they may be used to reinforce ELA skills in the classroom.
*Math News: Please continue to practice subtraction math facts at home. Spending five minutes nightly, at the bus stop, or in car rider line with flash cards helps a lot.
