Who Let The Dog Out?
Some of you may have seen or heard about an adorable, furry, sweet, new staff member roaming the halls of SGASD schools.....that's Kinsley! She'll be joining us officially after completing her training exam at the end of September. Stay tuned for instructions on how to request access to Kinsley.
In the meantime, here are some fun facts about Kinsley.
- Kinsley was specially trained by the UDS Program, and we eagerly waited three years to welcome her into our community. She has undergone extensive training to provide various services, therapy, and support as a facility dog.
- Kinsley celebrated her second birthday on September 8th! Join us in wishing her a belated happy birthday.
- Chrissy Kenney, our Home/School Visitor, is Kinsley's primary handler. Chrissy has been doing an incredible job caring for and working with Kinsley.
- Currently, Kinsley is proudly wearing her red training vest. After passing her test, she will earn her purple vest, signifying her achievement and readiness for more advanced roles.
- Kinsley's favorite snack is Fruitables, so if you ever want to make her day, you know what to bring!
- Kinsley is quite the sports enthusiast. Soccer ranks as her absolute favorite sport, with frisbee coming in a close second.
- One of Ms. Kenney's favorite memories with Kinsley so far was when she made friends with a kindergartner at SGE on the first day of school. It was a heartwarming moment that showcased Kinsley's incredible ability to connect with our students.
We look forward to celebrating her training success and witnessing her continued positive impact on our community. More information to come soon!
In Case You Missed It - Doceo Print Center
The Doceo Print/Copy Center link on the Staff page under the Technology section will take you to the online store where you will place your orders. You will log into this site with your district account, if you are not already logged into your browser. In the store, please note the following details:
- You will select one of 3 items:
- Print Request, Uncommon Job Request, or Specialty Items
- You should choose Specialty Items if the job you have is not listed in the Print Request or an Uncommon Job Request lists. Provide as much detail as possible about your special item request.
- The files must be in PDF format.
- Normal jobs sent early in the day will likely be processed and delivered to SGASD by the following day. The district courier service will then distribute to your building. Therefore, we expect most jobs to be delivered within 48 hours. However, depending on the size of the jobs and the timing of the delivery schedules, we ask requests to be planned out at least 72 hours in advance.
Doceo has provided us with directions on using their online print shop in both video and manual format. Those instructions can be found on our website. Note: You must log into the website to access these instructions. While the login page says to use your username, you MUST type your whole email address.
If you have questions about logging into the Print Shop, please contact our Helpdesk. If you have questions about the Print Shop itself, please email Vleada at vwayne@mydoceo.com.
