Medications-All prescription medications to be given/kept at school are required to have a doctor’s order for every new school year.

Allergies-The nurse’s office does not stock allergy medication. There are several over-the-counter allergy medications that last 24 hours as well as eye drops specially formulated for allergies.

Screenings-Hearing/Vision Screenings will be starting in the near future and done throughout the school year.

Extra Clothing Needed-The nurse’s office is in need of extra pants/shorts for accidents/spills. Any donations would be appreciated!

Exclusion Policy-To prevent the spread of disease and to protect your child, please keep your child home and/or make an appointment with your healthcare provider for the following symptoms:

• temperature 100 degrees Fahrenheit or higher
• vomiting
• diarrhea
• severe sore throat, headache, or cough
• eyes with inflammation, redness, and watery or purulent drainage
• undiagnosed and/or untreated skin rash
• communicable disease
• influenza/covid

Your child has to be 24 hours fever/vomit/diarrhea free before returning to school!

Have a "Lunch Date" with your student at CCE! We kindly ask that you limit the number of adults eating with the student to 2, as we are limited on space. You only need to take one slot, even if more than one adult is attending. You are free to bring in a sack lunch from home, or food from restaurants. Lunch tables will be set up in the foyer area for "Lunch Dates". Outside food from restaurants is not allowed to be brought into the school cafeteria.
