8th Grade Student starred in Minnesota Children's Theatre Production!
Congratulations to CMS 8th grade student, Scout Groshong. Scout recently starred in the Children's Theatre Company's show "Morris Micklewhite and the Tangerine Dress." Scout was interviewed on on Fox 9 News this fall, talking about this ground-breaking performance. The Children's Theatre Company adapted the children's story book to the stage. The show ran from October 14-November 19. Check out the interview below.
Congratulations to the Middle School Cheer Teams!
The CMS Red Team Cheerleaders took home 1st place at the Minnetonka Freeze Cheerleading Competition this past weekend! The team was faced with a last-minute challenge on Friday night as one of their teammates came down with an illness and could not attend the competition. Thankfully, they were able to have a flyer from the White Team come to practice that evening and learn the entire routine in only two and a half hours. Everyone arrived on Saturday confident, smiling, and ready to take the floor. Congratulations on 1st place to these hard-working girls!
The Centennial Middle School team WHITE performed their routine for the first time at the Minnetonka Freeze Competition this weekend. They received ZERO deductions on their performance and received 2nd place. The WHITE team is not designed to be a competitive team, but the competition staff accidentally included the team in the recreational division, so it was a pleasant surprise to get 2nd place! We are so proud of them and their hard work this season. Go Cougars!

E-Hall Passes and Early Releases
If you need to pick your child up from school before the end of the school day, please make sure you fill out an Attendance Request in Campus Parent Portal. Students will then receive an appointment pass in E-Hallpass. Please remind your child to check their E-Hallpass every hour.
Unless it's a last-minute emergency, please also give your student a reminder before they go to school if you are picking them up early. As a second scoop, you are welcome to text them if they have a cell phone, as most students check their phones between class periods and at lunch.
