MAINTENANCE / GROUNDS / TRANSPORTATION

  • Our guys installed a new gate for west side access to the baseball field area. Additional sidewalks are being poured the week we return from Spring Break.

  • The light shields have been removed in aux gym and Jim and Mike will be working on the air vents in aux gym. These areas are continually being damaged by balls so we are coming up with a long term solution.

  • The Finley-Oates roof contract has been signed and we will be scheduled for as soon as students are out of the building for summer break.
  • Happy Maintenance Appreciation Day, March 3rd, 2023! Thank you to the campuses and the district for the lunch, breakfast, and all the other goodies.
  • David worked with our custodial suppliers to create a better system for restroom cleaning. Custodians have been trained on the new system. In the pictures below you will notice that the cart, mops, brooms and bags are red or red striped. These items are for restroom use only. The goal is to stop the spread of germs, viruses, and pathogens.

The Warrior Ballpark project is complete!

TECHNOLOGY

  • The baseball sound system was installed the day before the Bonham Tournament.

  • Point-to-Point Wi-Fi for the softball, baseball, and tennis areas was installed on Monday, March 13th. Thank you to Mike and Daniel for using their first day of Spring Break to get this work completed.

  • We are working with campuses to get all systems ready for various state and AP testing.

  • The FinleyOates Computer lab was upgraded so that every other workstation now has a device that can be used for testing.

  • DAEP Chromebooks now have an updated operating system that will allow the students to test without the need to borrow from other campuses.
