Message from Crocker Parent Group President
Dear Crocker families,
The end of the year is in sight, and what a year it has been. If you have an 8th-grader like I do, get ready for an enthusiastic CPG send-off with a Great America day, Graduation Dance, and a festive party for parents!
- A huge THANK YOU to the talents of Cinthia Simon, Dana McCabe, and their wonderful committee for creating a spectacular night out at Pinstripes! The 7th-graders had smiling faces as they bowled with their classmates and enjoyed delicious treats. Thank you to the Chairs for planning this new idea for the 7th-grade class social.
- The CPG Executive Board voted on a dues increase for 2022/2023 to address inflationary costs associated with delivering future events.
- The last General CPG Meeting is on May 13th at 8:45 am in the MPR. Please come and say hello, as we finalize our CPG Executive Board for next year, share parent group business, and hear an update from Principal Maria Brady.
It has been a privilege to serve as President this year alongside a wonderful group of committed parent volunteers. We accomplished many great things and I am thankful for every parent who joined in the volunteer effort.
Gratefully,
Jen Salma
From the Crocker Library
Congratulations to the Crocker Trivia Team. In our recent competition, we placed 10th out of 85 eighth grade teams nationally. We answered 92/100 questions correctly, which was an improvement over our fall scores. Questions covered a wide range of topics such as: earth science, parts of speech, music history, math, Marvel and current crazes. Eighth grader Brody kept the team on track as our driver, the student responsible for entering the team's answers. For more information about trivia team, contact Mrs. Gilchrist or Mr. MacKenzie. Congratulations to this year's team:
6th graders- Kenna, Valentina and Adrian
7th graders- Allison, Dillon, Brandon, Zev, Nathan and Kingston
8th grader- Brody

SAVE the Date Crocker Class of 2022 Graduation
Wiliam H. Crocker's 8th Grade Graduation will be held on Thursday evening this year! Due to the Performing Arts Center availability, we had to pivot and plan for a Thursday night ceremony. Always determined to see the glass half full, we are excited for an opportunity to try a new tradition! The Crocker Vikings Class of 2022 Graduation will be held from 5:00 pm -6:15 pm on Thursday, June 9, 2022. Doors will open at 4:30 pm. The venue is large enough that we will not need to limit seating.
