Greetings, Cardinal Families!
Happy October! This school year is flying by! As of this coming Friday, we will be halfway through the first semester! We are well into the swing of things and hopefully have established routines for your students at home to have them be successful! By the end of next week, you should be about 50% through each of your classes. If you aren't, I would recommend putting in some extra time during the Fall Break to catch up.
Attendance
Just a reminder that the expectation is students are working on their curriculum 4-5 hours per day. Of course, there is flexibility in the program with breaks, and so forth since they are working from home. Weekly attendance to their one on one teacher meetings is REQUIRED. This is the time when teachers are able to go over progress and goal setting for the week with your student - skills they will need to carry through adulthood. To receive minimal attendance credit, they should be logged in (not idle) for a minimum of 30 minutes a day and submit one assignment.
Picture Time!
October 16th we will be having our Senior Portraits! Cap and gown will be available for your senior to use for the pictures.
October 24th is school picture day! We will be issuing school IDs to students and this is the chance to order those adorable school pictures!
Cardinal Candy Crawl
On October 30, we will be having our Annual Cardinal Candy Crawl. You are invited to come in and see the classroom decor and participate in some fun activities! You can come in costume, or come as yourself! Please make sure costumes are school appropriate, as we do have students of all ages participating!
Our staff and students are doing great things here at our school. Let's continue to support them to move them forward. Thank you for entrusting us with your precious students.
Have a great weekend!
Sincerely,
Annabelle Lee
