Updates from U-32
February 2, 2024
Principal's Update
We have finally made it through a full week without any delays, cancellations, or calamities. We are settling nicely into the second semester and looking forward to the warmer spring months.
February is Black History Month, This month we recognize the great contributions and achievements that Black people have made throughout the history of the United States. We encourage our students, families and teachers to learn more about this important part of our nation's history.
In the coming weeks, you will receive information about student scheduling for the 2024-25 school year. We will also be sending out the annual Climate Surveys for students, families and staff. We appreciate your feedback and look forward to using the data to set future goals for ourselves and our schools.
As I write this, the Model UN Club has just departed for Boston to attend the Boston University Model UN Conference. We have also had the pleasure of hosting the Winooski Valley Jazz Festival, which culminates with a concert this evening. See details below. We have so many amazing young musicians here, and are happy to celebrate their talents. We hope to see you there!
Have a wonderful weekend,
Steven
