WAO ELEMENTARY WEEKLY UPDATE
Friday, December 15th
We kicked off our week with the Elementary Christmas Concert! It was so fun to see all our students singing and celebrating the holidays. I am always blown away by our attendance at this event and thankful we have supportive parents and community members, as well as staff, who come to support our kiddos! Thank you to the many that helped with supervision and set-up and a HUGE thank you to Mrs. Nybo, Ms. Becks, and Ms. Fridstrom for all their hard work!
Four days left people! Hang in there...We might have some fun in store to make the week pass a little quicker. Reminder that Santa is coming Wednesday and we will have our whole school movie on Thursday. See information in the "Items to Note" section below!
Have a great weekend everyone!

🎉 🧡Shoutouts/Thank You's | WAO WINS!🖤🎉
- Shout out to my 3rd grade team, Kaytelyn and Cindy for picking up my slack while I was out this week and to Michelle Boroski for stepping in and handling my class! It is so nice to be able to take time for my sick kids and feel completely comfortable that everything is being taken care of. You three are my saviors this week! Also thank you to Kelsey and Amanda for being so considerate when it comes to putting our families first!
- Shout out to Sara Yutrzenka for always being available to help my students, offer support and guidance, and even be a listening ear when I need to vent myself! I would actually be lost with you, Sara! I appreciate you SO much more than you know!
- Thank you to MiChelle and Bri for all the hard work you put in to the Christmas Program. The time, energy, and passion you put in are evident in every song that those kids sing!
- Aaaand shout out to Betty, Mary, and Priscilla for the gentle way that you handle all of the students in Betty’s classroom. I watch them interact with students every Friday during buddy readers and am always so thankful for their patience and kindness with those little ones.
- I can’t believe the Christmas program was this week still, but HUGE thank you to all of the supervisors who helped!! Emily, Donilyn, Sadie, Miranda, Kelsey, Cindy, and Jeanne: You all helped make that night run smoothly and with a little less stress for MiChelle and me!
- Thank you as well to the classroom teachers for allowing flexibility in your schedules so that we can practice together and help prepare the kids for a successful evening!
Win: Gabe, Wes, and Tyce leading 5th grade in sing alongs in music this week!
