August 31st β Cobb Probe College Fair (Marietta High School) 6:00-8:00 p.m. Visit: Cobb County Fair | Probe (gaprobe.org) to register
September 8th β Senior Portrait Day @ CHS (by appointment only) No fee if taken here on that day.
September 12th & 14th Senior Seminar sessions will be conducted with all of our seniors. Post-secondary options (work-force/Apprenticeship, military, college), Naviance and Scholarships will be discussed.
September 14th β Senior Information Night for families will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the PAC.

Junior Advisement is right around the corner. All 11th grade students will be assigned a time to meet with his/her alpha assigned counselor for an individual 30-minute Junior Advisement meeting. Junior Advisement appointments will be held from October through December. Appointments will be delivered in the October Advisement/Homeroom!
During the individual Junior Advisement meeting, each 11th grader will complete and receive the following information to help plan for their individual post-secondary destination:
- Update the Individual Graduate Plan (IGP) to review remaining graduation requirements **This is NOT course registration.
- Review resources to use as you plan for your post-secondary destination and future.
- Verify SSN in CCSD system (this must be correct for HOPE eligibility)
- Receive a copy of unofficial transcrip

Visits are in person unless otherwise noted.
For in-person visits, students will be sent a pass to come to the correct location on the day of the visit.

ASVAB Nov. 2
WHO? Any current 10, 11 & 12th grade student
WHAT? ARMED SERVICES VOCATIONAL APTITUDE BATTERY (ASVAB)
WHEN? Thursday, November 2 from 8:30am-11:30am
WHERE? Room 306 *Registration Required by October 31
WHY? Required for entry into any brand of the armed forces. Learn more about career exploration and planning. Not just for the military.
