January 26th is our 100th day of school! Students can dress down on this day with PCA spirit wear or blue shirts. All dress down day rules apply. Students who do not follow dress down day rules will be given a uniform from the uniform closet to change into unless a parent can bring a change of clothes.

Our Home School Association (HSA) is excited to announce our new consolidated SignUp link for our active HSA volunteer opportunities!!

Sign-Ups will be added throughout the year, so please check back frequently!

-When applying sun, make sure you put it on 15 minutes before you go out in the sun and reapply every 2 hours while out in the sun. Apply it more often if you are in the water.

-The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) are unsure if “sweatproof” or “waterproof” are misleading terms, so make sure your sunscreen says “water resistant.”

-Not all sunscreens are water resistant and the ones that are only last either 40 or 80 minutes. Pay attention to which one so you know how often to reapply.

PCA uses a Virtues in Practice Program. Each month we focus on a specific virtue and different grade levels learn about a saint who exemplifies that virtue. At the end of month, there will be a family assignment to complete about the virtue. Each class will choose a Disciple of the Month based on the virtue.

January's virtue of the month is FIDELITY. Fidelity is being faithful to promises and commitments.

grades 6-8: St. Gianna Molla
