Cardinal Connection
East Parent/Caregiver October 1, 2023
Greetings East High School scholars, families, and caregivers,
Welcome October!! It is hard to believe we have been in school for 4 weeks already. Last week was a busy week for SPEHS scholars with Club Expo on Monday, PreAct Secured testing for 9th - 11th graders and Post Secondary planning for our 12th graders on Wednesday, a 9th - 10th-grade assembly on Thursday, and the WEF (Wisconsin Education Fair) on Friday for our 11th and 12th graders. Also, scholars were able to engage in WIN time this week. WIN (What In Need) time occurs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays and is an opportunity for scholars to obtain additional academic support or engage in clubs/organizations being held during this time.
SPEHS Fall sports are in full swing and we look forward to celebrating with our scholars and acknowledging their accomplishments. SPEHS admin would also like to thank all of the families who donated snacks for our scholars. Your generosity was greatly appreciated.
This newsletter is the first half of this month's communication with detailed "need to know" information for our scholars and families. If you have any questions or concerns, you can reach us by calling the main office where one of our administrative assistants will assist you.
