Columbus Connections
September 22, 2023
Welcome to our weekly newsletter for Columbus Elementary families! Every Friday we will share good news, important information, and of course our STAR STUDENTS with you.
Week in Review
This past week was filled excitement, learning and plenty of school spirit! Out fourth grade band program kicked into gear under the direction of Mr. A. We have one of our largest group of students participating ever with 114 boys and girls. Students learned about art history as part of Hispanic Heritage Month and made birthday cakes for Mrs. Chambers. Our STAR student program is in high gear as you can see below. Next week we will be having assemblies to review STAR student behavior here at CES. We finished off the week with school spirit day to recognize childhood cancer. Please enjoy the photos below in the around Columbus section.
