Principal’s Message
Dear Stonegate Elementary Caregivers and Families,
Each day at school, we remind ourselves of three school agreements: We care for ourselves. We care for one another. We care for our environment. “Care for our environment” includes all the spaces we work and learn at school as well as all the materials that make up our spaces. As we settle into our beautiful new surroundings, we have encountered a few challenges that we believe can be addressed with open communication and collective effort. We've noticed instances of some chromebooks cracking, crayon marks on furniture, and messy, disorganized spaces. While we understand that accidents happen, we would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone of the importance of caring for our school environment and the materials that contribute to our learning experience.
We kindly request that you take a moment to speak with your children about the significance of treating our new school and supplies with the utmost care and respect. Encouraging them to handle their chromebooks responsibly and ensuring that their desks and lockers are organized will go a long way. By instilling a sense of responsibility and respect for our surroundings, we can collectively contribute to maintaining a positive and conducive learning environment for all. We believe that, with your support, we can overcome these challenges and continue to foster a sense of pride and ownership in our school community.
Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. We are confident that, together, we can create an environment where every student feels a deep connection to their school and takes pride in its upkeep.
Warmly,
Linda M. Jones
Principal, Stonegate Elementary

Just submit an original work of visual art (such as a painting, drawing, collage, ceramic, sculpture, model or even fashion clothing and jewelry) by Wednesday, December 20. Clothing To Cash Recycling Program
Clear out your home before the holiday season!
Clothing to Cash® is a program that collects new and used clothing, shoes, sheets, towels, and all textiles and pays the school for every pound collected. As your child is outgrowing clothes, don’t throw those clothes away, give clothes a second life by donating them to Stonegate.
This recycling program is a win-win! It’s free and convenient for families and also serves as an ongoing fundraiser that serves our students and school community.
The program is operated entirely OUTSIDE and is located in the school parking lot, where students, parents, staff, and the community can drop off items throughout the year. They have state-of-the-art photo quantity sensors installed in each bin that report 3 times daily allowing the company to schedule service as needed. They empty the collection bin, weigh the contents to determine our school earnings, and pay our school each month. Every donation helps. If each family donates just one kitchen-size trash bag, we will earn $1000- $2000 yearly.
Stonegate families, relatives, neighbors, and staff are all encouraged to participate!
