The Seahawks Call
October 23rd - November 5th, 2023
Message from Principal Taylor..............................
Superintendent of Schools Maria V. Navarro, Ed.D., held a State of Schools event last week for parents and community members. During the event, Navarro shared a presentation about the state of the school system and how it relates to the three focus areas of the CCPS Strategic Plan. The strategic plan includes three priority areas: student learning and achievement; access and opportunities; and culture and climate. Each priority area includes goals and strategies with measurement metrics identified to evaluate progress. If you were not able to attend the event, visit the CCPS website to review the presentation and/or watch a recording from the event.
After her presentation, each school conducted a presentation focusing on our School Improvement Plans and how they tie into the CCPS strategic plan. If you were unable to attend, you may view the school's power point presentation on our school's website.
