Bobcat Bulletin
November 1st
Letter from Mrs. Anderson
Greetings Bobcat Families!
We have settled into the school year and quarter 2 is off to a great start! We are soaring to new heights and students and teachers are keeping the learning alive!
We recently held our first annual Parent Lighthouse Meeting and discussed our journey in being a Leader In Me school. We discussed our school and its priorities, our Immokalee community, and most importantly, our students! Please consider talking with your child about their WIG’s (Wildly Important Goals), student leadership clubs, and buddy classrooms. We would love to have you join our Parent Lighthouse Team – please email me if interested in this opportunity.
With Thanksgiving and Fall Break right around the corner, we can’t wait to have our school-wide Thanksgiving Luncheon. Please consider joining your child during their lunch time for our Thanksgiving feast, organized and planned by our outstanding nutrition services team. See flyer within the bulletin.
Finally, one important safety reminder. If your child walks home from school, please remember that students are not to be picked up by car in the “walker area” near Carson Lakes, Westclox, or Habitat. If you would like your child to be car pick-up, please contact the front office by 2:30 to make a dismissal change.
As always, thank you for being a positive and supportive school community. It takes each of us to create a safe, successful, learning environment for our students.
With gratitude,
Mrs. Anderson

Community Input Question #2: Strategic Plan 2025-2029
Thank you to all who provided input on question #1 of Planning the Pathway to our new five-year strategic plan. We evaluated 5,383 comments and more than 140,000 ratings that shared thoughts on a variety of topics. The top themes reflecting the most important next steps for the school district focused on high-quality teachers, curriculum, and class size. The response window for question #2 starts today (October 18) and will close on November 1, 2023. Click here to answer Planning the Pathway Question #2 and review/rate other participant responses. Answering this question should require no more than five minutes. Participants will also have the opportunity to review and rate responses of others using a 5-star scale (1 = strongly disagree, 5 = strongly agree). All responses and ratings are anonymous. NOTE: Comments may be flagged if they are rude or hurtful to a person or group of people or identify individuals either by name or affiliation with a small group. QUESTION #1 RESULTS To learn more about the strategic plan process, please visit www.collierschools.com/StrategicPlan. Your input is greatly appreciated!
