Greetings AOC Families,

I hope that you had a great weekend! Here is the student bulletin. This Friday is a Tues/Thurs schedule. Thank you to all of our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade families for filling out the Intent to Return to AOC form for 9th, 10th, and 11th graders. It was due this last Friday, January 26th. It was sent to all students and parents/ guardians.

Upcoming Events

• February 2nd- 7:30am-10am, 9th grade PE testing. Dress in PE Clothes for the morning.
• February 3rd- Last day of COC winter term
• February 5th- First day of COC spring term (all students)
• February 16th-No School for AOC Students
• February 19th-President's Holiday
• February 21st- Chipotle Fundraiser for ASB
• February 23rd- AOC ASB Basketball " February Face Off" Community-Event
• March 1st-ASB Talent Show Audition Day After School
• March 11th-Election Week
• March 15th-ASB Interviews
• March 22nd-Talent Show. All families are invited.

Located on the campus of College of the Canyons, AOC is proud to be the middle college high school in the William S. Hart Union High School District serving students 9th-12th grades in the Santa Clarita Valley. Students have the opportunity to earn between 24 and 44 transferable college units, prior to receiving their high school diplomas. Upon graduation, the majority of Academy students pursue their post high school education by continuing at COC and completing their college transfer requirements in only one year after high school. Other AOC students go directly into a four-year university, bringing their community college units with them and placing themselves well into their freshman and sophomore years at the college level. While attending AOC as a high school student, community college tuition is waived for established California residents.
