Course Highlights

TST BOCES and the National Safety Council have partnered to offer a six-hour defensive driving course. The course is approved by the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and provides students with valuable learning and cost-saving opportunities. Upon the successful completion of the course, you will:

  • Be eligible for a 10% auto insurance reduction for three years
  • Be eligible for a point reduction from your driving record (up to four points)
  • Have knowledge that will help make you a better defensive driver
  • Know how to drive in bad weather, how to avoid accidents and how to handle road rage

Sept. 26, Oct. 24, Nov. 21, & Dec. 19
9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Classes are held in Building J (Deckhouse) at TST BOCES.

Registration & Fee

The cost of the course is $42, and students must pre-register by contacting Susan Murphy at 607-257-1561. The course is also available online, where you may register using the referral code "351."
