Director's Pen

Mr. Midgley, school psychologist for Francis A. Desmares and Robert Hunter Schools resigned as of January 17th. While we are sad to see him leave to pursue his professional endeavors, we are pleased to welcome Kelly Biolsi to our Child Study Team! Miss Biolsi has been with the district as an intern student, and has been a valuable member of our team this school year. We are excited to have her fulfill the role of Mr. Midgley, effective January 28, 2020.

Mrs. Burns, the Supervisor of Special Services and Dr. Hamblin (Director) will be available prior to the 7 p.m. SEPAG meeting on the 11th of February to informally meet with parents and enjoy some light refreshments together.

The goal of the meeting is to further identify where we can grow in collaboration together.

Information regarding the SEPAG meeting to follow will be sent by Wendy Kent, the SEPAG chairperson, FRSD SEPAG

The ESY program will run from 8:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. from June 29, 2020 - July 30, 2020 with the exception of Fridays, this summer. As per Ms. McGann's Superintendent newsletter, the program will be held at JPCase due to the roofing project which will be take place this summer at Copper HIll School. Participation in ESY is at the recommendation of the IEP team. If you have any questions about the ESY program, please reach out to your child's case manager.
