Teaching Less with More Feedback = Greater Learning
As we begin to wrap up this semester and are thinking about planning for second semester, I want you to really consider this quote from Grant Wiggins. Let's get ruthless with our curriculum and determine the prioritized content and skills that we need our students to know. Look at the alignment to the updated DOE standards and think about how we can get greater learning gains out of our students.
If virtual and hybrid learning taught us anything, it's that what YOU do as teachers in the classroom MATTERS. You cannot be replaced by computer systems and software for a majority of our students. While they might push back and resist change or support, remember that those are the students who need us the most. I know we are all tired, stressed, and struggling; but remember that YOU are often the ONE person each day who positively impacts a student.
You only have 8 days to make an impact on students this semester - let's make it great!
Thank you for everything you do.

PTEF Teacher Recognitions
Congratulations Agai to Jason Adler, Mike Klopfenstein & Ashley Quinlin!
As a fundraiser, PTEF reached out to Perry Township families to donate a sign in recognition of an influential educator. Families nominated a teacher, made a donation so the teacher could have a personalized sign posted in front of the school, and then wrote a thank you message to the teacher explaining WHY they were selected. Congratulations to Mr. Adler, Mr. Klopfenstein, and Mrs. Quinlin for being recognized.
