Your Weekly Update from Johnson Elementary School
Principal's Message
Welcome Back Jaguars!
Dear Johnson Families,
The start of the school year is always filled with so much positive energy and this year was no exception, even with the rain! All the Jaguars came in with smiling faces and a positive attitude for learning.
Even though it was a short week, we had a lot of firsts here at Johnson. We raised our Progress Pride Flag, all grades started their brand new math curriculum, the YMCA has joined our community, and our entire school participate in Peacemakers. This year's theme is Roots & Wings- Watch us Grow!
I hope that you all take some time to rest and recharge this weekend so we can start again on Tuesday. This year at Johnson is going to be the best year YET!

Complete Your Yearly Forms
Please log in to your Powerschool account to complete the required early forms! These must be done EVERY YEAR. This information allows us to get in touch wth you in the event of an emergency and gives us information on your preferences for your child, including photo permissions. If you need assistance please reach out to our office staff.
Free Breakfast & Lunch
Breakfast is available in the cafeteria for students beginning at 8:00 am. Students can be buzzed in at the front and will be monitored in the cafeteria until arrival begins at 8:20am.
Lunch is also free to all students this year! Please review the lunch choices with your student so they are prepared to make a selection in the morning. We order our student lunches from the high school- therefore, students must eat what they order and will not be able to change their mind in the cafeteria.
Daily Reminders
Please send your child to school with a snack and water bottle daily. We have water filling stations throughout the building so that students can fill their water bottles throughout the day.
If your child has a change in dismissal plans please update Pick Up Patrol by 2:00 pm. If there is a change after 2:00, please call the front office.
