MUSTANG PARENT ALERT
T. L. Marsalis Elementary STEAM Academy
November 2023 Monthly Parent Newsletter
A NOTE FROM THE PRINCIPAL
Hello Mustang Families!
November is here and we have a little over six weeks of instruction left in the Fall semester. Our teachers are working hard to ensure that our students are mastering all grade level skills that our students should know by the end of December. Please make sure to reach out to your child's teacher(s) for ways that you can support your child's learning at home. You can also check out their grade level websites for tips and educational tools. Check out a few tips on creating a successful study environment at home: https://kidshealth.org/en/parents/school-help-elementary.html
We are also excited to be celebrating Marsalis's 66th anniversary during our November 13-17 Homecoming/Spirit Week activities. Not only will we have special activities for this commemoration, we will also be hosting our 2023 Fall Family STEAM Night! We are extremely excited to bring this amazing experience to our community. Our community partner, Frontiers of Flight Museum and the Dallas ISD Environmental Education Center, will be some of our special guests conducting hands-on activities that highlight our STEAM Innovation Model. You don't want to miss any of it! Please see our flyers below for more information!
