Senior Class Caps & Gowns
Attention Seniors & Senior Parents,
On Thursday, October, 5th, Seniors received information on the Senior Class Fundraiser and Senior Cap and Gown Orders. Both orders are due by Friday, October, 20th! For Seniors attending the Class Trip, if you fundraise, you will earn 35% of your sales to put towards your final Disney payment. If you are not going to Disney and would like to participate in this fundraiser, this money will help defer the overall cost of prom and help us raise money to pay for the Senior Class Picnic. Lastly, Seniors received an email asking them to complete a google form with the exact name that will be printed on their diploma and read at graduation.
Senior Info for Wednesday 10/11/23 (Part 1)
Dear Class of 2024,
This is a final reminder that if you did not Pass Home Room as your Final Grade during your Junior Year, your Career Portfolio requirements were due to your HR teacher by Friday, September 29, 2023. If you did Pass HR last year, then you are already eligible to present your Senior Presentation on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. Presentations will start at 1:00pm and students will be notified next week; please continue to monitor your email.
A few reminders/details:
- Your PPT/G-Slides themselves are due at the time of your scheduled presentation. As long as you have it ready for your schedule time, you do not need to show your HR teacher.
- With your new laptops, you will not be required to email your room captain. Instead, please bring your charged laptop with you to connect to the projector.
- Please dress professionally for your presentation and arrive 10 mins prior to your scheduled presentation time.
- Make sure you embedded your Resume as a slide. It's also a good idea to bring a few handouts for teachers (4 copies).
- BCTC Students do NOT present at BASH. Your Senior Project is embedded in your work at tech.
- Seniors do NOT need to attend BASH on Wednesday 10/11/23. We will be conducting PSAT, PACT, and other Career Portfolio activities and will not be following a bell schedule.
Seniors, please make sure you review the Career Portfolio website, particularly the rubric to prepare for your presentation. In addition, please understand that this is a graduation requirement and students must pass in order to participate in the graduation ceremony and receive their diploma.
If you have questions, please ask your HR teacher and/or Mrs. Bright.
Thank you and good luck!
