The RMS Orchestra High Notes
Weekly highlights & announcements from the Orchestra!
Week 14, Relaxation and Rehersal
We're back! Sorry for missing a week, it's not too often that I forget to put out the newsletter. Thankfully, we've been hard at work in the interim, and have plenty to share! We're putting on the finishing touches for our concert, and all eyes are focused on December!
Beginners: Our confidence builds day by day, and we're all starting to look comfortable and confident on our instruments! We can all play our parts, and now our attention turn towards playing together as an ensemble. We're thrilled to perform at The Grove for the first time!
Prelude: WOW! The progress that this group has made is a sight to behold. With two weeks left to prepare, we're feeling more confident than ever. We've had an time working on harder music than before, and accomplishing it at a higher level! Now all that's left it to pick up the tempo and rock our music!
Philharmonic: It's crunch time, and we're feeling it for all the right reasons. With a late addition of a challenging song, we've been pushing ourselves to learn and master a piece in record time. The good news? We're well on pace to do so! With a majority of us already solid on parts, and most of the song concert-ready, we have plenty of time to iron out the last few items and have a stellar show!
Symphony: This group continues to impress with their positive attitude and work ethic. They took on the hardest program to date, and every single student has risen to the occasion. We're thrilled for not only our concert, but for the chance to share our holiday spirit with our feeder elementary schools!
