Community Foundation received interest in forming partnership to provide trips for Seniors & Child Watch Friends + Parents, looking forward with interest to see what develops. This week the Farmer's Market opens in two locations - Community Center & Good Samaritan Center.

Highlighting community leaders serving on Public Safety Sales Tax Oversight Authority - Brad Eales, Jesse Hall, Nick Houk, John McGovern, Ron Smith. Thank you for your leadership in ensuring this sales tax is used as promised. The PSST Authority meets annually in August to review the proposed expenditures to be included in the upcoming budget.
Key Project Updates
- Splash Park opened last Friday, great summer start, looking forward to first full season
- Tornado siren test last week was perfect
- Cemeteries have been sprayed for weeds, found several headstones in Crown Hill tipped over, this cemetery receives more vandalism than Hillcrest, fountains near Elms are back in service.
- Community Center Phase 2 Bid open was rescheduled to 6/9 to finalize design requirements to accommodate the dome that was purchased, such as foundation & mechanical equipment.
