It has been a short but busy week at IGA!
We celebrated Georgia Pre-K Week, recognized our September Students of the Month, and enjoyed a special performance of the IGA Middle Grades One Act Play. We want to give you a huge shout out to Mrs. Mulkey and her theatre class. These students did a fabulous job performing, "The Complaint Department". Stay tuned for upcoming performances and dates to help us in supporting these students. As we begin our Fall Break, I hope that you take this opportunity to relax and enjoy time with family and friends.
We are extremely blessed to have support from our parents and local business
partners. Through this support, we have purchased IXL Math and ELA, an
educational support program for our elementary students. IXL will jumpstart our
learning this fall with individualized skills, perfect for reviewing foundational
concepts and igniting instruction. These skill plans will help students explore
essential topics for their grade level in mathematics and English language arts.
IXL’s Real-Time Diagnostic evaluates student knowledge and provides a personalized action plan to close gaps and accelerate learning.
Parent/Teacher Conferences will continue through Tuesday, October 11th . In fact, October 11th has been dedicated to scheduling Parent/Teacher Conferences. If you have not had an opportunity to meet with your child’s teacher, please contact us at 478-353-8490.
