Halloween 2023 was filled with treats and holiday fun! The younger students had a great parade for friends and family in the gym. All classrooms enjoyed Halloween games, crafts, and activities during their parties. Thank you to the many room parent volunteers who coordinated the parties and everyone who donated party items. Pumpkins were the source of many engaging lessons throughout the week, including estimations in math, dissections in science, and storytelling about their adventures. The teachers and students were very creative in their costume choices. Grade 1 dressed up as various Barbies, Grade 2 were Tootsie Pops (including Darwin, Ms. Reynolds' dog who was a chocolate Tootsie pop), Grade 3 teachers represented the four seasons and Mother Nature, and the Grade 4 teachers dressed up as Tired Teachers. Other staff members got into the holiday spirit as well, making Halloween exciting for everyone. A few Halloween pictures are below.
