Grades 9, 10 and 11 Student Registration for Classes for 2024- 2025 School Year
The purpose of this message is to provide you with relevant information and timelines related to our “online” registration process for next school year. The registration process will allow you and your students to have access to course information online and register online at home.
The following timeline is planned as it relates to the registration process for next school year for students currently in grades 9-11.
Feel free to start scanning the various EHS curricular offerings for your student. The EHS Student Registration Guide is online on the EHS web site: Click Here for Online Registration information.
January 10
Current 9th, 10th and 11th graders will meet in their PAWS classes to receive additional information and instructions related to the “online” registration process.
January 10 – January 25
With parental guidance, students may register online during this “open window” period of time. All instructions will be provided in PAWS on January 11.
Our intention is to have all of next year’s students at Eagan High School register online. We expect each student, with parental knowledge and guidance, to be able to access the internet and complete the process. Students will receive specific online registration instructions in their PAWS class on January 10
If you have questions, please feel to contact your student’s counselor at 651-683-6921 or send them an email.

Please remember the success of EHSTF is made up of all kinds of individuals stepping up to challenges!

Service Hours and GPA Reminder for Nat'l Honor Society Induction
If you have a sophomore student with a cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.8, or a student in grades 10-11 with a 3.6 GPA and above, they may be eligible for induction into the National Honor Society. Membership in the local chapter is a great honor that recognizes outstanding scholarship, service, leadership, and character in a student. To be considered for membership, eligible students must complete an application and information form. Although GPA is a primary factor in determining eligibility, students must also demonstrate leadership, service, and character.
TO MEET THE SERVICE REQUIREMENT, STUDENTS MUST DOCUMENT AT LEAST 24 HOURS OF SERVICE THAT ARE NOT REQUIRED BY ANOTHER ORGANIZATION FROM JUNE 2023 UNTIL THE TIME OF APPLICATION.
If you are hoping to apply for membership this April, make sure to fulfill the service hour requirement and complete your application on time. Once selected, members have the responsibility to continue demonstrating the qualities that earned them membership. An Induction Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, for new inductees and returning members.
If you want to learn more about joining the National Honor Society, click the link provided to get more information. This is an opportunity to showcase your excellence and be recognized for your hard work and dedication. Click HERE
Safety Reminder Around Buses
Assistance from our families is needed! We are seeing increased foot traffic through bus parking lots. We want to remind EVERYONE that it is crucial to use the sidewalk rather than taking shortcuts through the bus parking lots, bus loops, or bus corrals.
The most dangerous time around school buses is between 1-5 mph when buses are entering and exiting parking spaces. A school bus has many blind spots and bus drivers are not able to see people when they are cutting through bus parking lots. We want to avoid any unfortunate incidents that may lead to injuries or even worse.
We kindly request students and staff to use the sidewalk when going to or coming from their buses. We understand that this may be inconvenient, but the safety is our top priority, and we believe that this is something we can control to make for safer passage to and from the school bus.
Thank you for your help, together, we can keep our students and staff safe.
Students Entering Eagan HS During the School Day
Maintaining security in our school during the school day is important. We want to be sure that only Eagan HS students, or students enrolled in our Career Development courses from District 196 schools, or those EHS students who travel from SES to EHS for one or two courses, are entering our building during the school day.
After 7:40 AM all students who enter the building travel in through the secure entry booths. Students will be expected to show their current student id card (which is issued free to all students each school year) at the entry booth station.
Any student who does not have the id card should stop in Attendance to request a replacement.
