Welcome Back Letter
2023-2024
Superintendent's Welcome
Dear North Brookfield Families and Students,
Welcome back! We hope this letter finds you in good health and high spirits. As we embark on another exciting school year, we wanted to take a moment to extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has contributed to our school community over the summer months.
First and foremost, a big thank you goes out to our dedicated custodial staff. Their tireless efforts to maintain a clean, safe, and inviting learning environment do not go unnoticed. The care and attention they put into their work truly make our school a second home for our students and staff.
We would also like to express our deep appreciation to our Extended School Year (ESY) staff for their commitment to providing continued support and education throughout the summer break. Your dedication to our students' growth and well-being is commendable, and we are grateful for your efforts.
With the new school year just around the corner, we are thrilled to announce that the first day of classes for students (K-12) will be Wednesday, August 30th. Pre-K students will begin on Thursday, August 31st. We have been diligently preparing to welcome students back to a safe and enriching learning environment, and we can't wait to see the halls and classrooms bustling with energy once again.
Our team has been working tirelessly to ensure that we are ready to provide the best possible educational experience for your children. From engaging lessons to exciting extracurricular activities, we are committed to fostering an environment where each student can thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
We are also excited to share that our district will continue its commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) work in the coming year. We believe that an inclusive and diverse educational environment benefits all students and helps prepare them for success in an increasingly interconnected world.
Furthermore, we are focused on curriculum alignment across all grade levels, from Kindergarten to Grade 12. This alignment ensures that our students receive a consistent and well-structured education, providing a strong foundation for their academic journey.
As we look ahead to the upcoming academic year, we encourage you to stay connected with our school community. Be sure to check our website for important updates, events, and resources, and don't hesitate to reach out to our administrative team if you have any questions or concerns.
We are truly excited for what the future holds and cannot wait to have our students back in the classrooms. Here's to a year filled with growth, learning, and endless possibilities!
Thank you for your ongoing support.
Best,
Tim McCormick
