This Week at Windsor 12.18.2020
Teachers make a difference at any distance...
Windsor Families,
We want to wish you all a happy, safe, and healthy winter break. We would also like to thank you for all of your support and patience as we have adapted and navigated our way through the last several weeks. Our newsletter is coming a little late as the day got away from us. Mrs. Soprano and I had so much fun reading winter-themed books to almost every grade level, we had special guest appearances from Mrs. Barber and Mrs. Carpenter in the afternoon read-aloud sessions with Kindergarten and 5th grade. This a long-time tradition at Windsor and we were thrilled we were able to continue it this year even if it was held over Zoom.
I hope you all enjoy this time off, I know that I am hoping for some snow so that I can get out and maybe make a snowman with my three girls!

Are you looking for something for your child to do over Winter Break to keep their math mind working? Have them take part in the Greg Tang New Year's Challenge. There is a challenge for every grade level, and they all can be found at - https://padlet.com/vstella/GregTangchallenges. Students can complete the challenge online on the Greg Tang website - the link is on the padlet above - or by printing out the activities, which are also on the padlet. Once your child is finished with the challenge, make sure s/he fills out the google form at the top of the Padlet to let me know the work is complete. Students who finish by January 5, 2021 will be entered into both a contest on the Greg Tang website, and also a local contest for just Windsor students. We can't wait to see how many students complete the challenge!! Please let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, and have a wonderful Winter Break!
