Rachel's Challenge Club "The Friendly Ghost" Poetry Contest Winner

Congratulations to Kat Bettinger for winning the Rachel's Challenge Club "The Friendly Ghost" Poetry Contest. Kat's poem, which featured a ghost who learned to hang on when things seem overwhelming, is featured on the club wall outside of Ms. Zimmerman's room.

211 Season Meals

Programs that provide holiday meals at Thanksgiving and Christmas for those who might not otherwise get to celebrate.

Mathletes

Congratulations to our Mathletes for a spectacular performance on our November 7th meet at Webster Schroeder High School. We came in 1st place overall for our division! Max Ng earned a perfect score in the Pythagorean Relations category and was our top scorer for the meet.

Mrs. Mary Crelley, Counselor for Students L-Z

Mrs. Crelley is in the process of delivering 6 different lessons throughout this school year to all students taking the Parenting and Daily Living course on Teen Mental Health First Aid (TMHFA). Mrs. Crelley is a nationally certified TMHFA instructor - TMHFA teaches teenagers in grades 10-12 how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in their friends and peers. Our #GanandaGoals wall is beginning to come together! As our seniors receive acceptance letters to schools, training programs, apprenticeships or enlist in the military they can let their counselor know and we then post a panther paw on the #GanandaGoals wall right at the entrance of the school so that we can celebrate their accomplishments! Way to go, Class of 2023!
