EYE LARP in the UNESCO-listed Medieval Town of Rhodes

EUROPEAN YOUTH EMPOWERMENT FESTIVALS

The EYE FESTIVAL is calling for young people from Europe to meet in the magic Medieval Town of Rhodes.

On the 27th of June 2022 and play the Game "Grand Master Challenge". They will engage in an unforgettable adventure, disclose the past and meet their future friends. Meeting place: Sea Gate at 10.00 hours. Be there!

On the 28th of June 2022 at the Hospice of St. Catherine in the Unesco listed Medieval City of Rhodes the 3rd LARP will conclude with the Event "European Way of Life" from 10.00 - 14.00 hours. Do not miss the election of the Grand Master in Rhodes, Generation II!

GRAND MASTER CHALLENGE. THE GAME

In 1306 European Knights have started to build their home in Rhodes. How did they get there? And why? What were their achievements? Where are they now? These and many other questions will be answered on June 27-28 2022 in Rhodes, Greece. Be there!

Grand Master Challenge. Game and Election

Start your adventure by playing the Game as a simple Knight, meet your adversaries or your supporters, gain the title of the Grand Admiral, the Grand Chancellor or the Grand Hospitaller. Your ultimate goal is to be elected Grand Master in Rhodes. Leave your comfort zone, make your move and live this unforgettable experience together with your fellow knights in the Mediterranean, the key to three continents!

Grand Master Antoni Fluvia

A political refugee, the Spanish Antoni Fluvia (+1437) gave us the Great Hospital of the Knights in Rhodes, the prototype of any modern hospital: hygiene and specialized medical care for free.

Grand Master Pierre d'Aubusson

The inspired French engineer Pierre d'Aubusson (1420-1453) emerged as victor of Sultan Mehmet II in the siege of Rhodes in 1481 and saved Europe from an Ottoman conquest.

Grand Master Fabrizio del Carretto

Under the Italian Fabrizio del Carretto (1455-1421)

Rhodes becomes impregnable fortress. The Knights capture from the Sultan of Egypt the biggest ship in the Mediterranean with 4 decks and 1000 sailors.
